
Our Mission
The Epilepsy Foundation of Louisiana will ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research. The Epilepsy Foundation is a not-for-profit, volunteer health agency and an affiliate of the national Epilepsy Foundation.

Last Year the Epilepsy Foundation of Louisiana:
Conducted over 3,000 hours of community education
Educated more than 2,000 individuals in the community on epilepsy and first aid for seizures.
Provide counseling to 36 consumers newly diagnosed with epilepsy.
Assisted more than 100 individuals with their medication through the Patient Assistance Program.
